Big New Idea

Is That Big New Idea New?

Ever ask yourself, “Is my big new idea really new?” – If your always coming up with big new ideas one of the first questions you may ask yourself is, “I wonder if my big idea is a new idea?”.
When researching my next new big idea I like to check in early with the available online resources for what may already be out there.  This would be long before rushing off to seek professional or expert intellectual property assistance.  One of my first points of research is to visit the official online IP/Patent search engine databases which are often free to access.  While this is not a fully comprehensive and conclusive search, as early research it can help me to estimate just how new my big idea may be.  I can then take what I have learnt and act on the learning or pivot to my next big new idea.

What do you do when you get a big new idea?
